The Pokémon Go community is gearing up for an intense challenge from January 21 to 26, 2025. The Steeled Resolve event promises to test players' determination with a unique lineup of Pokémon and special research tasks. Players will encounter rare species like Rookidee and its evolutions, as well as enjoy exclusive Field and Timed Research missions. Free and paid Timed Research opportunities are available, offering diverse rewards and encounters. This event aims to push trainers to their limits while providing ample chances to enhance their collections.
This event introduces new Pokémon into the game, particularly focusing on the avian trio—Rookidee, Corvisquire, and Corviknight. Trainers can catch Rookidee more frequently during this period and evolve it into its powerful forms using specific candies. The Magnetic Lure Modules attract these and other Pokémon, enriching the playing experience. Players have the opportunity to build their teams with these formidable creatures.
The inclusion of Rookidee in the event roster marks a significant addition to the Pokémon Go ecosystem. With just 25 Rookidee candies, trainers can evolve it into Corvisquire, and by collecting 100 candies, they can achieve the impressive Corviknight. These birds bring a fresh dynamic to battles and team compositions. The Magnetic Lure Modules play a crucial role by drawing in a variety of Pokémon that align with the event theme, making each visit to PokéStops more exciting. Additionally, trainers can engage in Field Research Tasks, which provide exclusive challenges and rewards until January 26 at 8 PM local time.
Trainers can dive into both free and paid Timed Research missions during the Steeled Resolve event. By logging in, participants gain access to a complimentary Timed Research mission that must be completed by the event's end. Choosing between training with Blanche or Cliff leads to different sets of Pokémon encounters, ensuring varied experiences for all players. Paid missions offer additional challenges and rewards for those willing to invest.
The free Timed Research offers a three-step mission where trainers must choose between Blanche and Cliff for distinct Pokémon encounters. Blanche provides Marill and Steelix, while Cliff brings Shadow Machop and Marowak. Each path has identical tasks but different rewards, adding layers of strategy. For those seeking more depth, a paid Timed Research ticket unlocks exclusive content, including unique encounters and items. Completing these missions not only tests a trainer’s skills but also rewards them with valuable resources. Field Research Tasks, available through PokéStops, further extend the event's reach, allowing players to complete missions at their own pace and collect even more rewards.
